Concrete Primer is a colored adhesion-enhancing primer formulated specifically for raw concrete surfaces and substrate preparation prior to plastering. It is water-based and acrylic in composition. By balancing the absorbency of the concrete surface, it ensures that the plaster layer adheres firmly and uniformly. It prevents the plaster layer from cracking and peeling due to water absorption from the surface. Thanks to its fluid formula, it creates a thin and even film layer.

Application Areas

This primer is used for surface preparation on raw concrete walls and ceilings prior to plastering or coating application. It is highly effective on smooth, vibrated, or form-marked concrete surfaces that experience adhesion problems.

Application Method

The raw concrete surface must be dry, clean, and sound. Concrete Primer is diluted with water at a ratio of 25–30% by volume and applied in a single coat using a brush, roller, or spray gun. The primer is worked thoroughly into the surface to ensure penetration. Plaster application must not commence until the primer has completely dried.
