Rough Concrete Primer Product Characteristics
Rough Concrete Primer is a water-based, acrylic-based colored adhesion promoter primer specially formulated for rough concrete surfaces and substrate preparation prior to plastering. By balancing the absorbency of the concrete surface, it ensures that the plaster coat adheres firmly and uniformly. It prevents the plaster layer from cracking and peeling due to water absorption from the surface. Thanks to its fluid formula, it creates a thin and smooth film layer.
Areas of Application
It is used for substrate preparation on rough concrete wall and ceiling surfaces prior to plastering or coated surface finishing. It is highly effective on smooth, vibrated, or formwork-marked concrete surfaces experiencing adhesion problems.
Application Method
The rough concrete surface must be dry, clean, and sound. Rough Concrete Primer is diluted with water at a ratio of 25–30% by volume and applied in a single coat using a brush, roller, or spray gun. The primer is worked thoroughly into the surface to ensure proper penetration. Plastering should not be applied until the primer has completely dried.
